AeroPro Arbor Kit

I really think that this helmet is superior to anything I used when I was in the construction industry. I did a review on how much better these LAND Helmets are compared to the standard hard hats used by all unions around this country!! Well, I now have the upgraded LAND Helmets Areo Pro Arbor kit installed on one of my LAND bright/safety green hard hats (LAND has 12 colors to choose from). The basic helmet has an ABS plastic shell with 4 air vents, 2 front, and 2 on the back, and comes with 3 quick change, washable sweat bands that attach to the hand-dial adjustable headband on the interior. The helmet is lightweight, and infinitely adjustable to fit different head sizes.Now, on to the Arbor kit, which adds ear and eye protection to the LAND helmet. The ear muffs (which will snap into place easily on all standard LAND Areo Pro helmets) are a comfortable, adjustable fit, that offer great sound protection. The eye protection is even better, with a metal screen material that’s got great visibility without worrying about a plastic shield that fogs up or gets dirty!! Like the ear protection, the face shield snaps into place easily in seconds!! It is simply removed, and it is easy to flip up out of the way or it has two different positions it can be placed in for comfort. I got this helmet for cutting trees on my property, and now will also use it when I’m cutting or grinding metal in my fabrication shop. I really like these helmets from LAND and give them a 5 star rating without hesitation. Great job LAND, keep 'em coming!!

I'll start by saying that I bought two other products from this manufacturer and was excited to get this helmet. However, after putting it together, I could not get the face shield to sit level with my face. The way the helmet was set up, it's either a notch too high, where the shield is angled upwards, or it's a notch too low, where my eyes aren't fully protected.The earmuffs are fine, and the helmet itself is great, as I've said. I bought two other products from them in the past and really liked this brand; however, the face shield is really a huge turn off for me because of how the notch settings work. The helmet itself is sturdy. The ear muffs do a good job of drowning out the sound, but the face shield part just threw me for a loop. I even took the entire thing apart and put it back together to make sure it was done correctly. There's not even a way to adjust the setting, so maybe it's just my head or my eyes or some weird combination, but I don't know why they wouldn't have the face shield align horizontally with the bottom of the helmet like one would expect.

This land helmet is an all-in-one head protection kit that offers all the head protection one needs to get the job done safely and right. The lens offers a wide peripheral view which helps to determine footing, surroundings and any possible threats. It also serves as a shield from branches, debris, wood shavings or anything else hazardous to your eyes or face. The sound dampening earmuffs are a functional addition that not only adds protection but comfort as well. There's also a sweat band for the headgear that's easy to install, clean and is effective. The entire setup is easy to assemble and will take about five minutes. Just remember to take your time with the head gear and make sure you install it the right way. Otherwise, it's a huge nuisance to have to redo it. It's simple to obtain a perfect fit with a quick adjustment of the headgear. I also love the green color of the hat. It's not only easy to spot from afar but it makes as a great safety marker as well. This is an excellent value for your money and a top safety item in my book.

It comes with a few machine washable sweat bands, nice color options, fits well, face shield can take a smack or two. About six weeks in and I cannot really besmirch the helmet. I’ve referred to it as the poor man’s Protos and I don’t think that’s a bad thing. Wether you’ve been doing tree work for a few years now or just starting I’d say this is a phenomenal option at the price point, I’ve gotten quite a few compliments on my bold color choose as well.

I really like the Land helmet kit I purchased. The helmet fits great. The screen works great. The muffs do their job and fit nicely. Perhaps the only negative is the helmet weight. Seems a little on the heavy side.

I've been using the Aeropro Arborist kit for production tree work and it's been great! Accessories are easy to install or change depending on the job. Good fit and light weight really matters for less strain on my neck when looking up or tree climbing, and there are lots of options to dial in the inner harness or adjusters to get the perfect fit. Also appreciate the extra padding the kit came with to switch out and clean as necessary. The vents help keep me cool but don't let branches snag. Overall really dig this lid!

This is a decent quality arborist helmet for light home use, but I don't know that I would use it for more than that. The hard hat itself seems pretty solid, though it is the style that's more like a bike helmet covered in a hard shell, not anything designed to take more than a single impact. Still, it will keep you safe in most cases. The adjustability of the headband is good. It fits me well, and I have a pretty large head.Where it's lacking a bit is in the other pieces of the setup. While the face screen looks the part, I don't think it will hold up to much more than small chips flying while you saw. Any significant impact might be blunted, but the screen will just get forced into your face. The ear protection is also mediocre. The earmuffs look like they seal well, but they don't reduce the sound of the chainsaw all that much. Hopefully, it's enough to protect hearing, but I wouldn't count on using it for hours a day.

This hard hat is very comfortable and easy to adjust. The suspension system distributes the weight well so it doesn’t feel heavy during use. It includes ear muff hearing protection and a mesh face shield that attach securely and provide extra protection while still allowing good visibility. I also really like the magnetic chin strap closure, which makes it quick and easy to fasten. Another nice bonus is that it actually looks good when worn. Overall this is a well-designed and comfortable safety helmet with useful accessories.

I have already been using a LAND helmet for recreational climbing, so I had a pretty good idea of what to expect from this one. This version set up for forestry work has been excellent so far. The helmet itself is more comfortable than I expected because the top is actually padded instead of just being a thin plastic shell. That makes a noticeable difference if you are wearing it for long stretches while working.The accessories are well designed and everything fits together properly without feeling loose or flimsy. The mesh face shield gives good visibility while still stopping debris, and the earmuffs mount securely and swing into place easily when needed. One feature I really like is the magnetic chin strap. It makes it very easy to secure or release the helmet even when wearing gloves, which is a small detail but very practical when working with tools. Overall the build quality feels solid and it is a comfortable setup for real work use.
