Designed for professionals who require the highest level of head protection, the Frontier Type II Class E Safety Helmet delivers full 360-degree impact coverage, safeguarding against top, front, side, and rear impacts. Built for construction, utilities, tower climbing, energy, electrical work, and other high-risk environments, this helmet meets and exceeds OSHA and ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (R2019) Type II and Class E standards. The Class E non-vented design provides essential protection for workers exposed to electrical hazards, making it a trusted choice for crews operating near energized equipment or high-voltage environments.
Engineered with a premium ABS outer shell paired with a high-performance EPS impact-absorbing liner, the Frontier Type II Class E helmet offers exceptional strength without unnecessary weight. Its lightweight construction reduces fatigue during long shifts while maintaining maximum impact resistance. A secure 4-point chin strap ensures stability during sudden movement, slips, or falls, meeting stringent ANSI safety requirements for retention. Every element of this helmet is built for industrial reliability and long-term durability.
Unlike vented helmets used in general industry, this non-vented Class E model is specifically designed for electrical safety, preventing conductivity while still maintaining comfort and usability in demanding conditions. The moisture-wicking, machine-washable sweatband keeps perspiration under control, and the ergonomic suspension system distributes weight evenly to reduce pressure points throughout the workday. The oversized ratcheting dial allows fast, glove-friendly adjustments for head sizes ranging from 52 to 64 cm, ensuring a secure, personalized fit in any environment.
Built for real-world jobsite demands, the Frontier Type II helmet includes a forward-facing accessory slot ideal for headlamps or ID badge holders, along with universal side slots compatible with most face shields, visors, and hearing protection systems. These integrations allow workers to adapt their PPE setup without compromising the helmet’s Type II or Class E rating. Whether used in construction, electrical utilities, telecom, or industrial maintenance, this helmet supports efficient workflow and seamless equipment compatibility.
With clean surfaces and customizable color options, the Frontier Type II Class E helmet provides ample space for company logos or safety messaging. This makes it a perfect fit for organizations looking to create a unified, professional appearance across their workforce while upholding the highest safety standards. It’s more than just protective equipment—it’s a dependable, customizable platform that enhances your team’s safety and visual identity on every job site.

Real feedback from real people who wear LAND helmets every single day.
A standard cap-style hard hat is usually Type I, protects only against top impact, and uses basic suspension. The Frontier is Type II (360-degree protection), uses a dense EPS foam liner for impact absorption (like a climbing helmet, not just a plastic shell), includes a 4-point chinstrap that keeps it on during a fall, and is built with proprietary in-house tooling. It's a meaningful step up in protection and engineering.
Class C means vented (allows airflow). Class E means electrical protection. Class G means general protection. The Frontier carries all three classifications, making it one of the most versatile certified helmets available across construction, utility, and industrial applications.
Absolutely. We offer custom branding options including pad printing and vinyl decals. Contact our sales team for bulk customization orders.
The Frontier features both universal side slots (for visors, earmuffs, headlamps from Stihl, Husqvarna, 3M, Peltor, and others) and a dedicated frontal accessory slot designed for clip-on headlamps and ID badges. It's built to integrate with the full ecosystem of jobsite PPE.
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years from the date of purchase. Normal wear and tear is not included.
The Frontier uses an oversized ratcheting dial-fit system sized intentionally for glove use. It adjusts one-handed across head sizes 52 to 64 cm, locking in a precise fit that holds through dynamic movement.
