The LAND Frontier Type II Safety Helmet is designed for professionals working in construction, utilities, telecommunications, industrial environments, and other high-risk applications. Its Type II design provides impact protection from the top, front, sides, and rear of the helmet, helping protect workers from hazards that can come from multiple directions.
The Frontier is available in Class C, Class G, and Class E configurations to meet different jobsite requirements.

Built with a rugged ABS outer shell and energy-absorbing EPS liner, the Frontier combines dependable impact protection with a comfortable, low-profile design. A secure 4-point chin strap helps keep the helmet properly positioned during active movement and work at height.
The oversized ratcheting fit system adjusts from 52–64 cm and allows quick, glove-friendly adjustments throughout the workday. A removable, machine-washable sweatband helps manage moisture and maintain comfort during extended wear.

LAND Helmets Return Policy
We want you to be confident in your order. If you need to return an item, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, unworn, in new condition, and returned with the original packaging, tags, accessories, and any included documentation.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or the wrong item was sent. If the return is due to an error on our end, LAND Helmets will provide a return label or cover the return shipping cost.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a LAND Helmets error.
Non-Returnable Items
Custom printed helmets, pad printed products, special orders, bulk orders, used helmets, worn PPE, and items showing signs of use are not eligible for return unless they arrive defective or incorrect.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We will review the issue and help with a replacement, exchange, or refund.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you whether the return has been approved. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow your bank or payment provider time to process the refund.

Great Type II helmet. It sat little high on my head out of the bag, so I wa able to adjust it, bringing the internal straps up and deeper into the helmet. You just slide out the two rear tabs, rotate and remove the tab and then replace it on the next row down. Very easy. The helmet is quite comfortable and easy to adjust with the dial at the back of the head. I trust it's safety based on the rating and fit. I'm using this for residential demo work, and it will meet my needs perfectly. This is a well made helmet and seems quite durable.

Not a bad helmet, overall. It's comfortable and seems like it will provide good protection, but the durability is going to be questionable. It's basically a plastic shell over a foam bicycle helmet. While this construction should withstand an impact perfectly well, that will basically be the end of the helmet. Any significant impact is going to collapse the foam (which is exactly how the foam is intended to work), and any follow-up will have minimal padding. The straps are nice and have a long range of adjustment. Also, the clips work great for attaching ear muffs for hearing protection. I haven't tried the clips for a visor, but I assume they'll work, as well. Not a bad value, if you're looking for relatively light duty protection. Don't expect it to hold up to too heavy of work, though.

I bought this to wear at protests. I have been bonked on the head by police batons with this and it did a great job taking impact. No concussions! I chose this for the all over protection. I love that I can wear it for hours and it’s still comfortable, and I love that I can adjust the fit. I’ll usually keep it looser and then quickly tighten it up when things get hot. It’s pretty lightweight too.

I purchased this helmet for my husband since he was unhappy with the hard hat he’s had over the last two years. As a contractor he told me that he needs a type 2 helmet that is not heavy and also vented to keep him cool. With this information I went on my search to find a suitable safety helmet that would meet all of this needs. I took a chance on the Land Helmets Frontier, and boy am I glad I did! He absolutely loves it!! Since he is working at-height for long periods of time, he told me that the helmet doesn’t get as hot as his previous hard hat. He also said that the helmet is lightweight enough to not give him any neck soreness after wearing it for hours at a time. If you or a loved one are in the market for a cost-effective safety type 2 helmet, this is a wonderful choice! Would recommend - 5 out of 5 stars!!!

What's the difference between the Frontier and a standard cap-style hard hat?
A standard cap-style hard hat is usually Type I, protects only against top impact, and uses basic suspension. The Frontier is Type II (360-degree protection), uses a dense EPS foam liner for impact absorption (like a climbing helmet, not just a plastic shell), includes a 4-point chinstrap that keeps it on during a fall, and is built with proprietary in-house tooling. What do Class C, E, and G mean on the Frontier?

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years from the date of purchase. Normal wear and tear is not included.
